Germaine Seufert, M.A., NCC, LPC has completed her Master's in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education at the University of Colorado at Denver with an emphasis in Couples and Family Therapy. She is licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor by the State of Colorado. Germaine was trained and supervised by a Lovaas Consultant for over three years, was also supervised by a TEACCH supervisor for over one year, and has worked in the Children's Hospital in Denver in psychiatric units. Overall, she has more than eleven years of experience with children with autism and their families in in-patient, school, and in-home settings. Over the past eleven years, Germaine has continued her trainings in various types of therapy for children with autism and their families. She has also been a keynote speaker and is a Certified Teacher in Therapeutic Nonviolent Crisis Intervention.

Kirsten Shilling, BS earned her Bachelor's of Applied Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University in 2005. She worked briefly as a toddler teacher at a childcare facility before having children of her own. She handles the administrative part of Consultants for Children. In late 2009, Kirsten started working as a behavior therapist in home with clients and helps out with the social skills groups in Parker, in addition to her office work. Currently, she is also taking the graduate level course work that will lead to her becoming a BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst).

Alisha Hubbell, M.A., BCBA received her Master's in Counseling at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She completed a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis for Special Education through Penn State University and became a board certified behavior analyst in August 2008. Alisha began working with children with autism while completing her graduate internship in DC Public Schools. She is currently working towards licensure as a professional counselor and has experience providing mental health counseling to individuals with developmental disabilities. Karen Pinsky, BS, expects to earn her M.S. in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas in May, 2010. She received her B.S. in Special Education from the University of South Florida in 1996, specializing in learning and developmental disabilities. Karen has worked with children with autism and behavior challenges of all ages in various settings including homes, schools, the community, and center based programs since 1995. Currently, Karen enjoys playing mommy, consulting, direct teaching, and staff and parent trainings in homes and schools throughout the Denver area. Her areas of interest include rapport building and maintenance, social skill acquisition, verbal behavior, and parent, teacher and staff training.

Carolyn Ayotte, BS holds a Bachelor in Science from Northwestern University in Human Development and Psychological Services and is currently working on her Masters in Youth and Family Ministries at Denver Seminary. She has training and experience with Relationship Development Intervention and Applied Behavioral Analysis. This year, she has also begun to facilitate small playgroups or play dates for children with autism. Additionally, she has several years of experience tutoring elementary-aged children with specific learning disabilities. "I look forward to putting my experience to work for your child!" Jeannette Garcia, BA earned her Bachelor's of Arts in Pyschology with a Minor in Counseling at the University of Las Vegas Nevada. She began gaining experience with Applied Behavior Analysis while working with children with autism in 2007. She has experience working with the developmentally disabled population providing parenting skills and behavior support. She also has experience providing independent living skills training to people suffering from traumatic brain injuries. Amelia Mattson, BA received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2001, and began her career as a case manager for adults with disabilities in Chicago. She was then hired to work as a reading teacher for children with autism in Bradenton, Florida. During her tenure with this school, training emphasized reading for comprehension, behavior modification, and social & functional communication skills. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Capella University, and plans to use this education to not only improve the lives of children with autism, but their families as well. Amy Ondrak, BS received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Metropolitan State College in 2000. Amy started to work with children with Autism in the fall of 1999. She was trained and supervised by an ABA/Lovaas consultant. Within one year, she became a senior therapist and began training novice therapists. As part of her responsibilities as senior therapist, she observed the schools of children she worked with in order to help plan IEP's and to provide additional feedback for her supervisor. Amy has a total of 3 years experience in the home and schools working with children with disabilities. She truly enjoys helping and watching these children grow and learn and loves to see the parents light up when their child does something for the first time! Katrina Sokal, MS earnerd her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's of Science in School Psychology in upstate New York. She is a certified school psychologist. She recently has moved from Connecticut where she was a school psychologist for the past 4 years. During her time as a school psychologist she developed a passion for working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, which is what drew her to Consultants for Children. Her goal now is to develop as a therapist and earn her BCBA certification. Jenell Starkel, BS holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Cascade College, a private Christian College in Portland, OR. She has been doing ABA therapy for children with Autism since August 2004. Jenell has a true passion for children and enjoys every minute of her job. Jenell recently moved from California and absolutely loves Colorado! "The best thing about this job is seeing the progress in a child that I have been working with. It makes all my hard work, and the team's, worthwhile."

Heather Boyer, BA holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Colorado at Denver. She plans on specializing in child psychology. Heather is very understanding and patient and she is ecstatic to be working with children with special needs as a member of the Consultants for Children, Inc. team. She is very proud to be a part of bringing positive change to children's lives. Heather believes that having the opportunity to help shape a child for the better is a gift that never loses its novelty! Brittany Henkes graduated from Chaparral High School in 2007 and currently attends CU Denver where she pursues a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Growing up in a home where her mom provided in-home daycare has made Brittany very patient and understanding of children and their needs. Beginning in February of 2008, she began working in in-home programs of two, four-year-old boys with autism. She is very responsible, caring and organized. “I absolutely love my job; they are the best!” Emily Pritchard, BA holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont. She is looking to pursue a Masters in Speech Pathology. She has always wanted to work with children and has had an interest in autism for many years. She is an Special Ed Itinerant Paraeducator for Network 3, within the Denver Public School system. She also works as a one-to-one therapist within clients' homes. She is open to learning anything that might benefit these children and their families!
